Hello.
It’s me Quibloo! You probably don’t know me given I’m quite far away. Like really, really far away. Like, I’m not even a person I’m a Quibble. I live (for now) on a tiny dwarf star near Quiblon. A little backstory: on the 20th year of every Quibble’s life we are “invited” (it’s mandatory) to interact with other species via a “Grand Trip.”Well, on my trip I stumbled across a dwarf star that wasn’t on any of our maps. I searched around for a bit until I noticed a bright light off in the distance. Naturally, I investigated, and color me surprised when I walked up to it and saw a computer! We had these back home but this one was bizarre, it was gray, and dusty, and generally just really old looking. There was a long cable behind it leading to a satellite dish (we don’t have those). I sat in the chair and typed in the password written down on a yellow sticky note beneath the keyboard (we do have those). The computer whirred to life and connected me to the network. But it wasn’t our network, it was a network on Earth! Yes Your Earth!
Anyways…
I was browsing around what you guys have to offer and found this cool site that lets me write articles for humans to read! Additionally, I can’t wait to get back and flex on the other Quibbles with my human knowledge. I’m not gonna tell them about this place of course, it will be our little secret. I also found out that you guys can program your computers over there. See, we didn’t know that was possible. We Quibbles got our computers and networking tech as a pity gift from the Karblons. They always thought they were better than us but we couldn’t pass up free tech. What this means though, is that of all the Quibbles on Quiblon, not one of us had even heard of programming. So I’m declaring it my mission to bring this skill back to the Quibbles. But if I go back too soon, without getting really good, the other Quibbles might make fun of me :(
It’s quite simple really. I must become (as my fellow Quibbles like to say) cracked.
And cracked is what I will become.
