Miss me with your mountains

Dishes piling up? Work creeping into the night? Laundry to be done? If not addressed here is what you can expect:

Hyperbolic? Sure. But each of these scenarios WILL HAPPEN to some degree if you do nothing. Over time, tiny little daggers of responsibility accumulate into MOUNTAINS. And these are just the obvious ones.

You have probably spent much of your life bearing the burden of countless mountains that YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT. I'm talking about that general feeling of unease or pangs of anxiety you get every once in a while.

I'm no psychiatrist, but these (to me) are signals that you have unaddressed problems THAT NEED TO BE SORTED OUT.

I believe that these problems are the culmination of YEARS of unintentional, compounded, DAILY NEGLECT. Neglect that shifts metaphorical tectonic plates ever so slightly, ever so consistently, that mountains form from them. Mountains that WILL become insurmountable.

Well I am here to say the following: "SCREW YOUR MOUNTAINS, I DON'T WANT TO CLIMB THEM!"

I am LAZY, and I won't climb a mountain that I don't need to climb (except in the case where climbing the mountain lets me clown on you). So I say, "BE FORMLESS, LIKE WAT---", sorry wrong quote, "REFUSE TO LET YOUR PROBLEMS BECOME MOUNTAINS."

Problems become much easier to solve if addressed early and quickly. Slicing through a Gordion's knot is not impressive to me. You know what is? People who live their lives in such a way that a Gordion's knot cannot even be created.

So tackle your problems head on. Do it BEFORE they become mountains. The people you are competing with are doing it; and they are getting ahead solving EASIER PROBLEMS than you are!

In summary:

We don't climb mountains here, we prevent them from forming at all.
